1986 - established as Precise Connector Tooling Pte Ltd, to provide high precision tooling for the connectors industry.

1992 - changed business nature to focus on becoming a specialist in packing products for the semiconductor and electronics industries. The first product introduced was IC shipping trays.

1993 - awarded with ISO 9002 certification.

1995 - expanded business scope to include tape and reel products. 

1996 - Iwatani Corporation of Japan acquired a majority stake in PCT.

1998 - Established PCT Technology Sdn Bhd, Malaysia, with manufacturing facilities in Johor Bahru and Kuala Lumpur. 

        - Established IC tray recycling operations

1999 - Company name was changed to its current name, PCT Technology Pte Ltd

        - awarded with ISO14000

2002 - started manufacturing of tape products and IC tray recycling in Shenzhen, China
